Jag har intervjuat Rosie och här kan ni läsa hennes svar:
Rosie, you are the founder of the lovely Rosie Jane Cosmetics brand. How did you come up with the idea?
I wanted to do Rosie Jane Cosmetics after working as a makeup for 10 years; I couldn't find the products I wanted to use so I just started mixing my own stuff. I also wanted to offer women products that were totally uncomplicated and easy to use.
You have worked with movie and tv-stars, do you have any gossip to share with us?
All I can say is don’t always believe what you see in magazines. It takes a team of very talented makeup artists, stylists and hair dressers to get the Red carpet look.
Your company has been called a success story in several magazines, do you have some advice to other beauty entrepreneurs?
It’s scary starting your own business, especially in the beauty industry. I think our key to success has been starting small and growing slowly, making sure each product we release is perfect and high quality. Don’t take on too much to soon.
Which of the products is your personal favourite?
The Cheek Gloss, this product was the first one I developed. It’s like my baby. It is an amazing product too. I use it everyday and never leave the house without it.
Outside of the Rosie Jane line, what products do you use?
I love Chanel mascara and MAC powder eye shadows. I also love an Australian foundation called Paula’s Choice.
The packaging of your products is fabulous, was it your idea to design them like small irresistible presents?
It was my idea to do the packaging that way. I wanted it to feel like you were unwrapping the most delicious chocolate every time you got a new Cheek Gloss.
Autumn has come to Sweden and a dark, grey seasons is in front of us. Whats your tips for keeping the glow during winter?
Use a great glowing moisturizer like MAC strobe cream under your regular foundation. Keep you makeup light and fresh. Just add a little Rosie Jane Eye define to your eyes and a heavy coat of mascara to give a bolder look. Keep your Cheek Gloss handy to give your cheeks and lips a radiant healthy glow. Remember just because it is a little gloomy doesn’t mean you have to start wearing heavier makeup. You just want to define a little more.
